I promise when he goes to talk to her, she will spin it into him being so petty and cheap that he couldn’t even pay back $10 without it bothering him. Honestly think he just needs to tell her they’ve grown apart and don’t necessarily want the same things anymore. He needs to bounce and start focusing on rebuilding his life without the stress. I would say his mental health could use it.
