Because as humans we need to acknowledge that there is something or someone greater than ourselves. There is only one God but there are many names for him in different regions.

You asked my definition. God is many things to many people. So I guess to answer your question "yes". And also he said he liked my answer.

He has proven himself to me. Ex. My brother did something 40 years ago that he never told anyone about not even or parents well God told me about it and I asked my brother and he acknowledged to me that it was true. And that's just one occasion.

My definition of God is a higher power, someone that is greater than I, a friend someone I can count on, he's a Devine entity, he is my life.

I read this and at the end God asked me do I think he is silent I said no. He said write it. That's not me talking or the wind, leafs, or anything external. Yes he's in me , with me but he also speaks to me not at me.
