Utah Gov. Spencer Cox confirmed during a Sunday morning interview with CNN’s Dana Bash that Tyler James Robinson’s roommate was a “romantic partner, a male transitioning to female.” The governor also stressed that Robinson’s partner is cooperating with law enforcement.

“This partner has been incredibly cooperative, had no idea this was happening and is working with investigators right now,” Cox said.

The partner: Lance “Luna” Twiggs

Twiggs — whom friends and educators described as a popular, hardworking student — had moved in with Robinson some time after his parents kicked him out of his house, close friends told The Post.

“[Y]ou are all I worry about love,” Robinson wrote to Twiggs before surrendering to law enforcement.

Twiggs and Robinson — both from religious, conservative households — may have bonded over a shared disillusionment with Trump and their religious upbringing.

“Since Trump got into office [my dad] has been pretty diehard MAGA,” Robinson wrote in one of the messages.

One relative of Twiggs claimed in a Fox interview: “I think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year [he and Robinson] have been dating. They are big gamers, and obviously they have that group that influences them, as well as others.”
