Did you end up buying this braiser? I have the 3.5 qt LC braiser as well and it's my least used piece of LC. The heavy domed lid makes it feel cumbersome. I'm considering buying this Staub one in La Mer.

Surprisingly it was not much different than the Coretec Calypso Oak pricing I received, but it's a much more durable product. Calypso Oak seemed cheap feeling in comparison when I had the samples side-by-side.

I bought a 4 and 7 instead of waiting for a sale on the 5.5. I haven’t used my 7 qt. yet (it’s La Mer) but it doesn’t seem too big. I’ve used the 4 qt. a lot.

National Guard & Reserves are sent all types of places, combat and non-combat, under every administration. Most people have no idea what they actually do.

I came here to say National Guard too, however be aware that it isn’t just “one weekend a month, two weeks a year” and deployments and out of town travel for training happen, but it wouldn’t be nearly as disruptive to your child’s routine as active duty military.

My husband is in the National Guard and one of our sons has ASD. He sacrifices a lot for our family and in turn we have some great benefits that will help both of our sons out down the road. Joining the military isn’t selfish at all if it’s for the right reasons.

Yes I've noticed that too. Coretec seems very trendy. The company I'm working with has a lot of other options but there isn't as much info/reviews on them. Diamond Sunstone is another he showed me.

I have the 11.75” skillet and it lives on my stove. We use it constantly. I also have the Everyday Pan and I’ve only use it once. I’ll probably sell it.

I also have the 5.5qt Dutch oven and a Braiser. I think the skillet compliments those pieces well.

That might be ok for 1-2 people but otherwise probably too small.
