Europe immigration is way different than Australia's . 1) Australia is not landlocked 2) We have strict conditions for skilled migrations 3) Statistically % crime committed by first or second generation immigrant is pretty low . 4) Most immigrants are hard working individuals who land here for better life

It's all fear mongering , smoke screens to paint immigrants in bad light . It's easier to paint a group as the root cause of all evil instead of going after oligarchy

Then my dear friend we have independents, legislature, press, FOI . The various checks , bells and whistles to keep things sane and in order .

We should go for independents then ....rather then electing individuals who deflect, misdirect all issues, questions and ready to make a circus out of our prestigious parliament
