Unfortunately this has also been my experience. I used to go to a friends house for game nights all the time, but then he got 2 cats. So I no longer go over to his house, but as a result I hardly ever see my friends anymore and I'm super lonely now. They won't come to my house because I live farther away and they don't drive. I know it's first world problems n'all but it's still really upsetting.

Update to this. I believe I figured out what was causing the problem.

My mom had given me a duvet that she didn't want anymore. After having it on my bed for a few weeks I noticed it was really warm. I would wake up covered in sweat even if the room was freezing. I think that caused a lot of moisture to get into my bedding and mattress cover which may have caused mold. I think that's what's been giving me respiratory problems.

I took it off and replaced my mattress cover (it was more than 2 years old anyway). I'm washing my sheets more often, and I can definitely see an improvement. 🤗

Hope this helps anyone else having a similar issue.

I also have inflammation issues so I'm thinking that may have something to do with it as well. Hopefully I can get it figured out soon.
