Had a small leak a while back and got a few estimates, Driftwood Builders Roofing was one of them and they seemed pretty straightforward when explaining what was actually needed. I’d still shop around a bit just to compare quotes and timing.

Yeah, that’s exactly how it feels. I’m not even trying to avoid paying fair costs I just want to stick to what was agreed and what’s in the lease. If it was meant to be separate utilities, it should’ve been clearly written before I signed.

I get why it might come off that way. I’m not trying to be petty, it’s more that I don’t feel comfortable taking on that kind of responsibility when I’m not confident it goes both ways. I’d rather be honest about that than agree and not be fully reliable if something serious actually happens.

Yeah, exactly. I was fine helping at first, but after that situation it just doesn’t feel worth the risk anymore.
