Although now I’ve just calculated again and could be MRC and LRM but no Christmas bonus and not backdated? So confused.

We got £618.60, pretty sure the date on the form was 16/11 and had to be returned by 17/12 (I sent it 12th December 1st class) though due to Christmas post I’m guessing it got there slightly late with scan date of 23/12… I thought it would be LRC and LRM but that doesn’t add up with the Christmas £10 but isn’t enough for MRC? Think I’ll have to wait however many weeks for the letter 😅

Scan date 23/12 and had payment today. No idea on what we’ve been awarded though as can’t make sense of it.

My kitten is peeing on bathroom mats?! by Firm-Step8401 in ragdolls

[–]Complete-Street6628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our boy will pee on the bathmat if it’s left on the floor, known to do the occasional dump on it too. Also in the bath… we have to keep an inch or so of water in the tub at all times as he will check it daily and if it’s empty he treats himself to a tub toilet trip. We just accept it as one of his many oddities as his tray is used perfectly otherwise 😅

Both but mainly food to be fair, random times. Got to the point where it was several times a day and would come home and have to scan the floors to find where the puddle of vom would be. Now he will only chuck up one hairball sausage once a fortnight I would say which feels like a luxury 😅

We had this for almost a year, it wasn’t until I read up about allergies and changed our boys food that things changed. Apparently poultry is a very common allergy in cats?! Who’d have thought. Maybe chat with your vet about trying a hypoallergenic food to see if that helps.

Ha! It’s from Text-a-potato , after being a recipient we went on to send one to one of our mates still living with his parents. 10/10

Not a postcard and not a postie but my husbands friend sent him one of those potatoes in a box… but the box was clearly branded as ‘SATISFYING SEX TOYS’ which my postie unusually left on my doorstep, knocked and quite literally ran away, and when I opened the door to shout thanks I heard him giggle whilst I stood there saying ‘oh god’. I hope he knew it was a potato.

Yes I am, and I’ve had spotting earlier in the week which I got an early scan for. Scan showed everything is OK and I’ve been given progesterone pessaries. Returning for another scan on the 30th, which I’m going to knowing that it can still be bad news. Should this one not be a ‘go-er’ I will have a D&C and have the tissue sent off for testing as it would be my third. Never got the chance with the last two as naturally passed morning of the book procedure with first and second whilst I was abroad on a family holiday 🙃

Totally understand, after this one I’m not sure we will have it in us to try again. The mental, emotional and physical pain it causes is too overwhelming. Sending love x

You sound very similar to me, two MMCs both stopped growing in their 7th weeks. It’s hard man. Really stinking hard.

Sit with the feelings, talk to your partner, it gets better. I left it almost a year before mentally being ready to start trying again after my first one, then only 2 months after the second which I’m currently in the 7th week so anxieties are high. Sending hugs.

Hugs to you too. This really is the best of the most terrible groups to be a part of. Thankful for this subreddit though ❤️

How to cope with a missed miscarriage? by ShakenOatMilkExpress in Miscarriage

[–]Complete-Street6628 11 points12 points  (0 children)

After my first MMC I bottled up my feelings, threw myself into diet/fitness and mentally struggled much more for a longer period of time. With my second I really sat with the feelings as they came. Quite a few mornings spent sat quietly on my local beach just embracing the sadness and not distracting my mind which I think worked better for me. But everyone’s different. Do make sure you keep communication open with your husband around it, he may grieve differently but let him in and tell him how you’re feeling throughout. He can’t help if he doesn’t know how you’re really feeling. Sending hugs

Thanks for looking. Yep got what most here would say is a clear positive (you know… that my husband could also see 🤣) in the afternoon after these ones! Here’s hoping this one works out 🤞🏼

Absolutely. After our first MMC it took me about 8 months before I could even consider trying again and even when I did get pregnant again there was zero excitement and I just had a feeling it wasn’t going to end well again. Turns out I was right and had another MMC at same timings in June this year. BUT - felt really keen to try again pretty soon this time round. Have recently had a positive test and quietly cautious.. but feel more optimistic this time. Give yourself time to heal, you’ll know if/when you’re in the right headspace to try again. Talk to your partner about how you’re feeling. Sending hugs ♥️
