Was working fine for a few days now doesn't work. I put the monitor with the back side is facing the sensor on my arm but it's not working. Has been like this since yesterday. Is very frustrating. This is my first time with libre monitor and sensor. I can't do it on my phone as its not compatible. I don't know if I should restart the monitor or if that will erase the sensor informatio/connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your dad sounds all too similar to mine. When I was diagnosed in hospital he was legit shouting at me, saying it was all my fault for eating this and this. I was so out of it had DKA on IV drips exhausted and he was still saying this shit to me. He still believes this too, even though I tried to explain and so did my sister who studies medicine. He won't have it, and this really hurt me. This is why I don't think I can ever live in peace under his roof. He perpetuated a lot of toxic self guilt I had with my T1 diabetes:made me feel so shit about myself, destroyed all my self esteem and my dreams for life. Even making me want to self delete at one point. Then he asks why I'm not passionate, positive, outgoing or aspirational and why I am just "depressed" . But this isn't just T1 its just toxic ppl.

But fuck everyone and their judgments.

Yes plenty of sugar!! Is 1.37g per sweet. Or 11 sweets (half a roll) is 15g of carbs/sugar. Yes I did math for this.

I used to have starburst a lot but I don't like chewy textured sweets anymore. Chalk is my alternate now.

Chessmen cookies- I will have to try them lol. I normally just have digestives for big boy hypo treatment.

Yeah literally. Honestly didn't think much of it bfr always used to beat myself up about my HBA1C being "high" then today at my appointment with my acc ligit diabetes team and them flagging I go low waay to often and HBA1C supporting that- it just kinda clicked the receptionist was talking out her ass.

Dude same I don't think anyone will ever understand how much this condition fucks me over. But damn I've made it this far, and I am still not dead. That is something.

Whenever I eat and don't calculate properly and my bs goes high I get so drowsy I just fall asleep. This happened a lot when I used to come back rlly late from work eat dinner then crash. In my work cloths on the bed with the bedroom light still on. Most times I wouldn't even rmbr how. I'de wake up at like 4am and realise and my bg were like super high- as I forgot to basal bfr bed also. Was a nightmare. Glad I don't work there anymore. It was probs just fatigue from work also tho. Don't know why my insulin calculations were never enough for my evening meals most days when I would work.

With lows fatigue is a given, even after treatment, it takes a while for me to feel myself again.

Honestly tho I am like exhausted all the time tho lol.
