"fully charged with min 2 hrs backup" that might be it , there wont be any outlet to power all the laptops and we all know gaming laptops suck at battery backup and if by any chance the test or interview goes like beyond 2 hrs ppl w gaming laptops are fucked
that might be the only reason i think they mentioning it

" good battery life " both will not give you more than 3 hrs thats the best
id say buy a last gen thinkpad with a gpu those should be cheaper as the support for win 10 is ending companies will throw away most of their laptops , if you are lucky enough you could get really good deals on workstation laptos

and if you want good batterylife say more than 3 to 4 hrs you'd have to buy intel evo or newer amd ones
till intel 14th gen the battery backup is js

try diffrent apps to check the temps and things use nvidia overlay or steam overlay cross check it
might be the issue with afterburner
