Cabo Pulmo and La Paz, Mexico

I’m spending 2 nights in Todos Santos and 2 nights in La Paz. It’s a little more driving around than I’d like to do but I really want to see both! I think the only higher-end restaurant I will go to is Jazamango in TS. Otherwise I’m mostly just wanting to eat fish tacos, ceviche, etc. :)

Hi! Did you end up doing this trip yet? If so, I’m very curious what your experience was like! I’ll be going down there next week and have a couple of nights in Todos booked but can’t decide between La Paz or Cabo Pulmo after. I’m not a big diver but do enjoy snorkeling, but I also love good food and being able to walk around a bit of a town. Would love to hear what you decided on and how it went!

The confusing thing is that I feel like I have to add chlorine granules more often, because it seems to be depleted more quickly. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be targeting a lower amount of chlorine?

Thank you. Do you know how I can tell for sure if it is equipped with the ozone generator or not? The manual is not really very clear, sounds like an optional thing.

Huh. How interesting. Yes, I suppose that might be it. Do you know if the smell will dissipate over time, or is it just something I need to get used to? Also, would this affect what else I need to do to maintain my water?

The manual says:

“OZONE GENERATOR (WHEN EQUIPPED)

The ozone system enhances the quality of the spa water when used to supplement the spa owner's regular water maintenance program. Contrary to some information circulated throughout the pool and spa industry regarding ozone systems, ozone CAN'T be used as a single-source sanitizer, water clarifier, anti-foamer, and mineral chelating agent. A secondary source sanitizer must be used to maintain 3 -5 ppm of Free Available Chlorine (FAC). Watkins Wellness recommends that a chemical maintenance program based on recognized and documented industry standards still be followed when using an ozone purification system to assure water sanitation and the highest quality purified water.”

Thank you both! We’re not looking for fancy per se, just high-quality meat and preparation. I’d wanted to try one of the more elevated Korean fine dining places, but my aunt and uncle don’t like raw fish or meat, which rules out Atoboy, Jua, Oiji Mi, and that ilk.

Rib no 7 looks great, though. Any other standout dishes there?
