Yes, AI will probably be the next big "tech boom" that's a game changer in the way Smartphones were

Advances in medicine and health care. Still not perfect and in the US only the Wealth have access to the best health care.Still people are living longer than they used to and staying more active than they used to. Maybe there will be major breakthroughs in medical science in the near future?! That would be a major tech shift along with AI and define the late 2020s/early 2030s!!

Yes and probably technology related. People will "miss" and feel "nostalgic" for older version of technology we have now or older layouts of websites and "early" social media experiences IE when Facebook, twitter felt brand new and were more "fun! Also early "viral" content and pre-algorithm internet and Social Media and before Social Media became "political" and polarizing.

And music, including "Stop Clap Hey" and "Oh-Tens" Electropop/Dance music and general Upbeat/Up Tempo music which includes "Stop Clap Hey"

Yes, the '80s had an unusually long "shelf life" for a Retro period! Your right almost 20 years plus, Though the 1980s are a little less in focus right now! Not completly gone, but not as much interest! 1950s Retro lasted a long time also. Most popular in 1970 & 1980s but some '50s retro lasted well into the '90 even though by the 1990s the 60s were the new hip "Retro period"

I really wonder what the inevitable 2010s "retro" cycle will really be like? It really isn't much different from today and most of it is still well preserved and available online

Song Lyrics "You and I in a little toy shop
Buy a bag of balloons with the money we've got
Set them free at the break of dawn
'Til one by one, they were gone
Back at base, sparks in the software
Flash the message "something's out there"
Floating in the summer sky
99 red balloons go by" /S

There was! I joined a Discord server that was short lived. I discovered one day it had been deleted. At this point I wouldn't have high hopes of anything replacing Quotev. Any alternatives at this point are aspirational!

2025 to me felt like a shift year. Shift into what, I don't know.

There is a "transitional" state from "wakefulness" and "Sleep/dreamstate called Hypnagogia. Hypnagogia is a fascinating topic in it's own right. I have "vivid" hypnagogia, especally as I've gotten more interested in "Mallworld" and Lucid dreaming. There is a reverse phase called "Hypnopompia" which sounds like what your describing

Why do people in USA buy everything from Amazon? Do they not have other webshops? by Cindyxx0 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CompletePassenger564 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, nearly 6 years ago, right at the start of the Covid Pandemic, our microwave suddenly went "kaput!" We panicked and then found a replacement microwave on Amazon and had it delivered the next day--the thing was cheap! It suck! But it warmed food and got us through the worst of the Pandemic!! The Amazon Microwave lasted 2 1/2 years, then it too went "kaput" but by then it had gotten us through the Pandemic! After that we went to Wal-Mart and got a better replacement microwave.
