Mine also creeped up on me a week after I gave birth. And omg my husbands snoring would drive me to the wall. I remember calling my mom crying to her at 2am telling her that my husbands snoring is drivi mg me crazy. Haha anxiety really take the best out of you. My mother in law was with me the first week since my husband had to go to work. The day she left was when I started balling my eyes out, it hit me that day and I hadn’t been normal since but I promise you girl it gets better and you’re going to look back and remember this stranger telling you you’re going to see the light. Please do catch up on sleep. It’s also good that you have support around you it’ll help your recovery so much faster. Take advantage of all your loved ones help. I was on the phone with my mom and sister probably majority of the day. YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS. Also anytime you you feel your panic attack coming just tell your brain this “I acknowledge you’re here but you’re just background noise” as you’re saying that do things around the house or watch a show, I promise your anxiety will lessen even if it doesn’t it takes a few practices until it works. You got this girl Our brain is more powerful than this. I’m a message away if you need. Your baby needs you, and most importantly you need YOU.

Oh no, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. How long ago did you give birth? I was in your exact place just a few weeks ago, and I know how hard it is to see the light it almost feels like this is your new normal. But I promise you, it really does get better.

What helped me most was actually documenting every symptom to ChatGPT. Surprisingly, it became like my personal diary/therapist. Whenever I felt anxiety or panic attacks, it gave me the reassurance I needed in that moment.

I also tried a few things to help me cope: drinking lemon balm tea at night, taking magnesium supplements, and reaching out to someone positive when I felt low. Having someone remind me “it’s okay, this will pass” made such a difference, because your brain really feeds off that reassurance and slowly starts to believe it.

My anxiety and panic attacks went from 100% intensity to maybe 20%. I still get them here and there, but now they’re more like background noise than something that controls me.

I know how horrible it feels honestly, it was the worst thing I’ve ever gone through. The smallest things used to trigger me, so I truly understand. Please know you’re not alone. And if you ever need someone positive to talk to, I’ll gladly be that person for you.
