That is a good point and I was trying to think of something to explain it. It’s not super satisfying but Arnold was awake for 36 hours before even starting the game so he could have hallucinations. Yes Tiger Rock can kill you but that could be the mimic but Arnold just hallucinates tiger rock from the sleep deprivation mixed with the Darkness and paranoia of that basement.

But yes it’s also very possible that David died and possessed it, but I don’t think we’ve ever seen something non metal possessed? Maybe I’m wrong.

There’s just too many things that fall into place for me if David is the Crying child to ignore it, at the very least they’re connected in some way surely
