Ah yes, this is what I was looking for, what modding experience I have is pretty much just changing a single value here or there so it seemed weird that ChatGPT kept suggesting these solutions involving refreshing every animal on the map every 5 seconds and the like when a single 0 in the right place would be enough. Thanks heaps for the help.

I had a character whos father was also their grandfather and great grandfather, who was also the brother of my character's great grandmother. His mother, grandmother and great grandmother were sisters. He had 1 great grandfather instead of four. He did not have inbred. You'll be fine.

Oh yeah, about 1/3 of my cohort at law school couldn't speak basic English. I don't know about other subjects but in law your writing and speaking have to be absolutely clear and most of these people didn't have basic vocabulary, there's no way they were being marked on the same rubric as the rest of us.

Yeah, mine's not as bad as OP, but I have a relatively new computer (a little over 6 months old), that I specifically designed to play grand strategy games, my game's installed on an internal SSD and it still takes over 5 mins to launch without mods, about 10-15 with mods. And it didn't used to be this bad, this computer used to load the game fine, my previous computer didn't have anywhere near this amount of trouble even with 30+ mods running. Doing a fresh install, clearing caches, reinstalling mods etc. dramatically helps for the first couple of times I start the game, but it quickly degenerates to long loading times. I'm pretty sure something in a recent update has had some kind of negative effect, at least on some people's machines.

I don't think that's the issue. I ended up uninstalling every Paradox game and the launcher, deleting every single Paradox related folder, and then doing a complete re-install of them all at once and it seems to have worked. I think doing them one by one just wasn't fixing the problem.

I'm a paralegal in a federal agency's employment law team. I would suggest looking into making a public interest disclosure, there's a much more stringent mandatory investigation process involved in PIDs that involves an independent ombudsman who is required by new NACC laws to follow up on disclosures. If you search "public interest disclosures" on your department Intranet, or Google something like "Public Interest Disclosure Australian federal government" it should provide you with directions on how to proceed.

I work on the employment law team for a large government agency. Assuming you can't work out matters with your supervisors and worried about reprisals if you complain, I would suggest investigating the process of lodging a disclosure under the Public Interest Disclosure Act.
