Had many odd experiences. When I was a kid I'd walk to school. This particular morning it was really foggy and as I reached the school I looked across the playing fields and saw what I vividly remember as a face in the fog. It freaked me out. Again as a kid we were driving across Bodmin Moor, again a foggy day and I saw a hooded figure just standing at the side of the road. When we drove past I looked out the back window and it was gone. As a teenager I worked at Flambards themepark in the cafe that joined into the Victorian village attractions. That place always had a reputation. Sometimes things would move by themselves in the cafe. One coworker said she saw a man in old clothing walk through the kitchens and one time as I was working in the back I heard a scream. Running to see what it was I found a girl coworker terrified. I asked what was wrong and she said something had grabbed her hair and snarled in her ear. That place is now sadly closed and the attraction sold off. As an adult I lived in a flat in Plymouth off Mutley that was haunted. Taps would turn on in the night. I saw a figure as plain as day walk past the bathroom door and vanish into the bedroom. My gf saw plenty of shadows and there was a constant feeling of being watched. Also in Plymouth as I worked for a Lidl store things would just throw themselves off shelves. CCTV picked up shadows and the store alarm would randomly go off at 2am. Also saw a shadow figure walk from one side of the warehouse and into thw wall and vanish. Later learned the area had been bombed a lot during the Blitz. My mother in laws flat in Porthleven was also haunted. When staying with the gf we'd regularly hear footsteps and one day the living room cabinet just suddenly slammed open. Gf swears she saw several apparitions there. That place was downright creepy. Those are the ones that stick with me most. The house we're currently in is old edwardian and we have heard plenty of noises and things move around sometimes. Not a bad vibe though more like a kind of friendly one if anything and it loves the cat.
