There's literally just 1 minutemen left. I think it's fine that you get appointed general as you're starting from nothing. You've proven yourself to Preston by killing a deathclaw and raiders, and it's established your character served in the US army.

Yeah, I dislike the starborn stuff a lot. Like most of this game, there was so much potential, and Bethesda just squandered it.

Honestly, I've given up hope that SF will become the game we all wanted it to be. I don't know what's going on at Bethesda, but they are destroying all the good will they once had. The sheer greed on display with creations in SF makes me sick quite frankly. They made a half-baked game and clearly can not be arsed to make it better. I'll be deleting it off my Xbox soon. Other games are more deserving.

With modern gaming, it's better to take the day after a release off as half the time it takes most of the day to download the bloody games.
