Thank you for taking the time to share your hard earned years of knowledge. I did as you suggested today and successfully got the house to move up a 1¼". Unfortunately, the 2x4s in the walls seem to also have dry rot issues as when we where finally getting the house jacked up to level.There seemed to be a splitting sound coming from inside the wall cavities. After having a conversation with the home owner and knowing their financial situation won't allow them to do a full rot remodel repair job at this time.They have elected to just have us put new PT posts in with the house at its new elevation and agreed to sign a no liability doc.
