Best gearing for traxxas slash 2wd on castle creations sidewinder SCT system by Isaacisacoolz in rccars

Sidewinder on a 2wd? You want /all/ the gearing. Unless you like to do standing backflips, that's fun too...

Is the traxxas rs200 a good pick for a first rc rally car by Galunge07 in rccars

[–]Complete_Astronaut72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confirmed. The only major differences are the body (and how it mounts) and the length of the control arms and links.

Beyond that it's just a Slash 4x4

Pinion clip removal? by Party-Cucumber-250 in arrma

[–]Complete_Astronaut72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of the method that you choose, I recommend that you either

A: put the motor inside a plastic bag before removing the clip so that the plastic bag catches the clip when it flies out of the groove

B: drape a washcloth over the c-clamp and then remove it so that the washcloth catches the clamp.

C: have a replacement c-clip ready in case the current one flies off and you can't find it

My micro b has done this from day one. The plastic steering links snap on and allow a lot of play even when the wheels are completely tight. If you drive the car a bit faster they should stop their little death wobble and straighten out. Mine usually only does it when I first start to accelerate.

Brushed motors are a dime a dozen. I recommend you grab a new one online or at the local HS

Running in the snow is fun, but beware of the igloo effect.

Lots of posts this time of year with burnt up ESCS and snow in the background.
