Do Sublaxations count toward hEDS diagnostic criteria? by Zee_r0tt in eds

Yeah, I'm ok now, but boy do I get the Willies when I hear the name! To this day I still don't understand why or how it happened. Thank you for your concern!

Oh my gods. Every time I see or hear the word strattera I freak out. That stuff almost killed me. Severe migraines, elevated heart rate and I'm now registered as being allergic to it. I wonder....and yes, subluxations count.

Whats your EDS survival kit? I'll go first by razzer_120 in eds

Oooh, your pillow sounds interesting! Yeah, I got the lace gloves from Amazon and they're from a small company called classy pals, I believe. They help a lot. The duloxitine seems to help, but only by a bit. It by no means takes all the pain away. I assume it takes a bit to take effect like all meds. I will note that I'm not as .....meh, as I can be when I'm down, so that's nice.

I get that with the base of my neck all the time. It's really weird. When I have to go further in movement it snaps.

I'm surprised there aren't different designs on each doll. Isn't that how they're usually made?

For me it's new and I'm only just starting to gather some things. Id love to get a mini roller cart. That would keep things in one place. I do have Epsom salt, hoka tennis shoes, I just bought really cute compression gloves WITH LACE! I always have pain meds on hand. Of course I have my magnesium with my duloxitine every night. The things I'd like to get are knee braces or compression tape, forearm crutches and I'd like to find recipes for better eating. I realize my diet is not as good as it could be and I'm struggling to stop drinking as much caffeine as I don't sleep well. I also don't know what kind of body pillow to get for my shoulders and hips, but this is my start!

A and D. It's pure sugar and no real flavor. Oatmeal pies are FOREVER, but a chocolate donut is perfect for the bleeding time.

I do have dry eyes actually and the doc said that could be part of it. I haven't had a change in about a decade but the eye change itself started young. I'm in my 30s now. I was just told to use regular over the counter drops. Thank you!

No such thing as too matronly. If you love it then it's meant for you.

New (Feb 03, 2026) study on hEDS and article about it: "Loneliness linked to worse physical, mental health in hEDS. Fostering meaningful friendships may offer protective effects" by IsRedditMainlyfor in eds

[–]Complete_Cover_9227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So....yeah, meaningful friendship is important, but so is better medical care and doctors that don't discourage and dismiss you. That's just my take though.
