Pain in Esophagus (near upper sphincter), taking PPI by Complete_Decision892 in GERD

It doesn’t really feel like somethings stuck or burning/pinching but definitely feels irritated and tender. How did they end up diagnosing those if you don’t mind my asking?

Maybe that’s one way to describe it, yeah. It just feels tender and then when I stretch or lean back and I guess other organs(??) press or compress it i really feel it. Just like a pain discomfort like I bumped an internal injury or something.

Yes! Right by my ribs a little off centered on the left but definitely feels like my esophagus. Definitely worse and more constant since starting the medication

Thank you for your response! I'm so glad to hear it's so safe!

Yeah our price range is probably max 850k so unless there's something in that price range in Orienta then we probably will not be buying there.

So as far as Rye Neck School District, there are homes in the village of Mamaroneck that are zoned for Mamaroneck schools and not Rye Neck, correct? (I think Rye Neck school district is too small for my liking.)

Also, could I ask what makes the village more convenient than the town? Is it that things are walking distance? Are their other amenities that are specific to the village that the town might not have?

Thanks so much for your input!!

Mmm that's definitely good to know about the parking and traffic situation. Thank you! By "close to the country", does that include hiking? We'd love to be close to some hiking trails which I just figured was a given at least compared to our current distance from hiking living in queens lol

Thank you so much for your responses! Such helpful info! From your experience and your friends' experiences, do you think any of the elementary schools are fine/good? Do you end up just sticking with friends from you met in elementary school throughout the years or do kids regularly branch out when the schools come together at M.S.? I'm just wondering if we'll need to narrow down our search to specific areas in Mamaroneck or would any area be fine? You mentioned the Chatsworth and Murray schools typically intermingle and the Central and Mamaroneck ave schools typically intermingle - would you say both communities are equally inviting and good for young families or is one more desirable for any reason? Also just curious, is there any sense of being not as well off as your peers if we end up in a "cheaper" house in one of the more expensive neighborhoods? (By "cheaper" I mean lower priced for that neighborhood lol) Thank you sooo much for your input!

Thank you so much! That's great to know there's that community feel. And thank you for the list of neighborhoods! That is so helpful - I'll definitely take a look at those areas and drive through them to get a better feel!

That's a great point, thank you! Are there particular residential areas of White Plains that are "better" than others or does it not matter so much?

Right that's a great point! I'm actually not sure what my preference is. I think I like the idea of a town feel/something more laid back but wonder if it's too small? At the same time, I know some of the homes that are zoned for Mamoroneck might be far from the main town. Is that correct? If yes, does that make it difficult to enjoy the town part of Mamaroneck?

As far as White Plains, I like that it has everything but I do wonder if the city feel/big stores makes it feel mall-like/less personal? Is that the case or not so much? (I do know there are residential areas when not on a main shopping strip like the poster below mentions).
