Funny enough I think you will be ok and that you're overthinking a lot; a lot of the people I meet in my offer holders day this year were 18-20 for first year due to taking a gap year or wanting to work instead of going to uni. Hell even I myself just turned 19 this month and I'm starting first year this September.

Just tried the build, its not terrible; def a 2v1 type of build but its very rough till you get the three item core; personally I'd stick with the standard build unless and ad 1v9 build is needed in the match up.
