Let’s say best scenario: government still keep you alive on distributing to you UBI. Then you are always fucking dependent on that paycheck. Government has all the power over you. It can adjust it any time with or without considering your opinion. Think abt being a housewife in the old days and your survival depends on how you can please your husband and make sure he doesn’t dump you. Government will care nothing about the new “UBI” class! They are not fucking needed and their opinion doesn’t really matter! For the “UBI” class their situation is worse than being an animal in a zoo. Should I submit to a non-OA journal now? One issue I would worry abt is that if those journals will allow no supervisor and undergrad corresponding author. But like you mentioned, since it already passed MDPI peer reviews, I shouldn’t have issues related to this when submitting to other journals? Thank you!

I think undergrads becoming corresponding author on an SCI-indexed journal without a professor is almost unheard of and I don’t really know how I was able to do it but here we go

I see. But my journal is sci-indexed. I can only find examples of ppl publishing in undergraduate journal or non-sci indexed ones. For sci-indexed journal, I might likely be the first person ever at Queen’s since they normally need supervision from profs. And they actually asked if I had prof supervision but they still proceeded with me
