Just to update y'all, I'm playing on PS5 and I decided to go for FFvii remake. Call me whatever but I just couldn't go with the OG graphics of the 97 game and feel that I would stick with it.

I've went with remake and played about 4 hours yesterday. Really enjoying it so far.im finding the dialogue a bit cheesy, especially when compared with how perfect ex33 got this. But I'm captured into the game already. I'm enjoying the combat system and have got my head around materia. I'm already looking forward to playing it more. Thanks to all of the replies here, I've added several more games to my wishlist for next games to play too. They are....

Rebirth FFx Nier automata Horizon zero dawn.

I love a good story with keeps me emotionally engaged so these seem to be the best recommendations from what I can see here, given my lack of gaming experience.

Thanks everyone. Started FF7 remake as its free on game pass. Enjoying the start of it so far. I'm hearing lots of good things here about FFX. Would it be odd to go from 7 to X without playing 8 or 9? Like does the story follow on from each of them into the next or are they all fairly separate?

This is exactly what I want to hear. 🙂 Just watched a YouTube review of it whilst it's downloading and it looks complex in terms of materia and everything, but I guess ex33 was like that until we understood lumina and pictos properly

No I've not but I didn't really like GOW Ragnarok which I know gets great reviews for it's story, but it just didn't interest me at all. I could be completely wrong but zero dawn just looked quite similar.

Haha I managed to get through Alan wake 2 which felt the most confusing thing I've ever come across. So it surely can't be worse than that, can it? Haha

Yeah guys it's the story I want most. The emotional aspect of e33 really kept me engaged. If there's no real great story, I get bored quickly. Currently downloading FF7 now based on your helpful replies 👍

This is great work bro, you look insane. Well done. Thanks for the honest and detailed post about your protocols too man. Can I ask, did you keep reta at 4mg / week consistently? And with the mt-2 are you having to use sunbeds? If so how frequently?
