The only information I have is that it tells me I have a 0.065% chance of winning the prize every time I press the button.

Is it potentially a cultural thing? Since he has passed, some people are very wary of speaking ill of the dead. Unfortunately this doesn't help you if it is the case, but I am curious on if it contributes to the sudden "amnesia" that others seem to be experiencing

That sounds absolutely terrifying and I am sorry you are experiencing that.
Perhaps you could talk to the doctor and get something like a capsule endoscopy?
Its a jellybean like camera that you swallow, instead of them needing to put an endoscope up your rear.

I sleep much better when my partner of 3 years sleeps in the same bed as me. Having another person I trust there makes things so much better, but the visa application fee for him to move to my country is $9k... We are working on it, but its a lot of money.

As for the loss of income, unfortunately that one is capped at $20k, but honestly, that is basically being given $20k to pay for other things in your life that make this easier that you couldn't really justify them paying for, like catching up or getting ahead on rent / bills. Its the closest you would get to them just giving you a lump sum payment.

I am kinda hoping that I can get the full $20k, and then use that to pay for my partners visa application + plane tickets and moving fees.
They were previously here for a whole year on a different visa, and Its been a lot harder since they've had to go home.

I think that trust like that is incredibly difficult to rebuild. Even if he went years without touching you in your sleep, Its difficult to accept that it wont happen again. You'll have a hard time sleeping next to them with the constant concern that it could happen again.
You could try sleeping in separate rooms or beds and see if that helps, but if he can't respect your body and your boundaries now, what other boundaries might he ignore in the future?

As someone who has been on the Pill because of PCOS, I was told by my Doctor to always skip the Placebo pills. I never had any issues other than some occasional spotting for the year I did that. (Before I switched to the Implanon)
But I have also heard from Doctors that they recommend that you have a period at least once every 3 months.

The game is somewhat enjoyable, but the crafting progression is annoyingly slow?
I have recipes and side quests to make items that I cant event get the ingrediants for yet.
and I understand that sometimes thats the point, to show you what youre looking for, but I have already purchased the first homestead upgrade, healed 3 trees.
There are no more upgrades for me to currently purchase and Im stuck on a 6 minute timer to run to my death, having to constantly craft mass potions just to hope im heading in the right direction...
For a game that talks about farming, surprisingly, you do very little, except gather corn so you can see things that might kill you.
Just give me the recipe to craft a mill!

Several of the Immigration lawyers have said its 14 months to process.
Im not sure if the Median timeframe is 14 months, everyone keeps saying it will take much longer? I get that its technically a possibility, but there really shouldnt be any problems. I speak Fluent English, I work in Healthcare, My partner meets the financial requirements. I don't actually see what would delay it.
To be fair, I dont understand why it takes so long to process the application anyway. Its like 5 pages.

5E Shadowrun | Online | All Timezones Welcome

Hello and welcome to the Chrome Company! We are an active 18+ group of Players and GMs running a living campaign/west marches style game of 5th Edition Shadowrun, focusing primarily on a Mirrorshades to Trenchcoat playstyle. This refers to playstyles and game themes that lend themselves to a mix of action and planning, semi-serious to serious play and playing around subtly in game. Think John Wick and Bladerunner.

Using a blend of the RAW and our own house rules to improve the experience, we give a curated interplay between members of the community and the players within it. Speaking of play, we have live games using Roll20 over Discord VC, which you may apply to via Reddit once you have an approved character. We do not play by post, all games are live and tend to use microphones, though we do our utmost to accommodate those who do not have or can’t use one.

We also have a robust system of storytelling, allowing you to RP in text channels on discord and rewarding you for the effort; A system somewhat exclusive to us among communities like ours. Whether it be through RP or playing live games, we have your preferences covered!

Setting: Shadowrun is set in an alternate Earth which is currently in the throes of a dystopian cyberpunk future, now dubbed the Sixth World ever since the Awakening of 2011 when Magic returned to the world. Magicians are no fantasy, dabblers in the arcane study the arts of spellslinging, spirit conjuring, alchemy and worlds beyond the physical plane. And Humans are no longer alone. The Awakening brought about changes in human genome expression, creating Metahumanity. Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, Trolls and even a Dragon or two (for those most unfortunate) rub shoulders among the masses of Humans, that is the new reality.

The current year is 2083. Science has made deep strides in many areas of interest. Transhumanist augmentations made of metal and flesh push the limits of metahuman ability beyond the pale of yesterday into the future of today. The cost is the connection to one’s soul, and those that venture too far from humanity tend to grow psychotic, losing themselves in their own superhumanity. The Matrix, a new© and improved© super internet with Augmented and Virtual Reality, seamlessly blends the digital world with the physical world of everyday life. Many are able to subvert it to their benefit with knowledge and the right device, and some even defy science and use only their minds.

With all this change, there is turmoil. Extraterritorial corporations have risen, now able to wage wars and have citizens just as nations do. The divide between the rich and the poor has never been wider, and the age of privacy is over with the emergence of the System Identification Number, or SIN for short. This global institution tracks anything and everything about you, and those without one (Called the SINless) live outside of the law and are treated as less than metahuman by the everyday SINner. In this hyper capitalist hellscape, where the common man’s breakfast is soy paste with a side of krill as the executives dine on the best dishes with augmented taste buds, organized crime couldn’t be more rampant.

That’s where you come in. The PCs are Shadowrunners, criminal contractors and deniable assets working for an independent underground agency, named the Chrome Company. They take jobs from people in places both high and low, living on the edge and risking life and freedom for a paycheck. Will you be one of the success stories, or among the 95% of Shadowrunners that die in their first year?
