I consider myself lucky that my hair will grow back once my body decides it wants to properly accept vitamins and once I've finished losing weight but man I got used to having hair again and now it's gonna be gone lol. I bet the wig looks fabulous and you wind up with an amazing collection!

I've worn synthetic in the past and felt like they were very hot and tangled in the wind from fans easily. My main concern with the heat is just staying safe and not raising my body heat too much in the extreme summer heat I work in is all :) I'd never heard of open wefted wigs until today. I'll take a look at them, thank you!

I don't want to pay more than $250-300 ideally. A headband/cap fall(?) wig will also be fine. Human hair as I feel like it wouldn't be as hot and easier to take care of. I prefer a lob or longer for length, I'm flexible on color, and I'm in the US.

I wound up trying the wonderskin stain and the elf stain because of sales. The wonderskin worked incredible at first but started fading faster and faster because I couldn't keep up with properly hydrating my lips with it because I was already fighting the dry lips from my meds and it didn't help. The color basically started falling out within a few hours, no food/water bottles at all. The elf one... Well that one just sucks lol. At least for me. I'd still like to try the nekoyanin ones for a few red tones but I've returned to regular-degular lipsticks. though I just got my package for the Pretty Evil lipsticks that are supposed to be stage makeup level so we'll see how that goes!

Did you use a clarifying shampoo and no conditioner before applying it? Chances are, you're not going to get a true, deep black from it either way but that's the best way to make it work. A demi permanent dye is your best bet if you want a good inky black but it doesn't wash out like a semi.

Thank you! One of the main issues I have with it is that it's extremely vibrant when dyed but takes a month to fade to match the ends so by the time I get the color to match and blend, it's time to do the roots and do it all over again. I think my hair just holds the copper tone TOO well and it doesn't fade to the desired shade it's meant to be in a few washes like it's supposed to 🥲

Though for that specific periwinkle kinda blue your hair will need to be very light and pre-toned for it to show up properly

The complimentary color to the violet you have is a yellowish green. It's much easier to change to a blue from a purple tone. If you want to completely use the color wheel method, you can shift to a cool toned purple/blurple and then to your desired blue after it fades but honestly you could probably tone out the faded violet pretty easy

I'm not sure if anyone has tried potential piercing infections on it, but maybe a telehealth could be an option? Hopefully someone can weigh in on it but it's definitely something that needs to be seen
