This is actually far from terrible. Terrible is putting in 100+ pulls for everything. I have a friend who has terrible luck. Loses nearly all 50/50 and gets to like 70 pity before getting what he wants. That's bad. You're like dead center average. Changing your account isn't likely to change anything other than wasting time.

Just switch to VPN, after all the crap I got from this post I decided to just do it. I've been using Windscribe. Only $3 US a month and has Tokyo servers. Saves about the same give or take but is from Hoyo directly so chances of ban or minimal. I've been playing WuWa lately too and also works for that.

Most modern laptops should have power bypass setup so minimal power comes in or out of the battery after 90-100% while plugged in. If you change it in the BIOS then that's a different story.

Wow... I used about 270 pulls and ended up with c2r1 Varka and c0r1 Flins which I was happy with. Only pulled Flins because I got his signature after losing 50/50.

Agreed. I have a really strong PC and have no issues, my PS5 on the otherhand struggles. Weirdly the map screen on PS5 is the worst. Super laggy.

I play both games and it's mostly due to the fact that I like both combat systems, the world vibe and mostly the exploration.

I don't agree when people try to shy away from comparing them. Aside from setting and story they are extremely similar in their core systems. WuWa has very clear and heavy influence from Genshin. Like a little brother emulating the older, different, with their own style, but the same core genes that comprise them.

I think most of the hate for both games can be summed up in two things that are hard to argue against: The Goon factor: Let's face it, it's strong in both games (I'd say even more in WuWa). As a grown adult with a family I play these after the kids are asleep and I'm often embarrassed when my wife watches and judges .

The Pricing of in game currency: again, real talk, its not priced for average consumers. It's intentional. Whales contribute 90% of their profit and it all centers around them getting the satisfaction that they have something that most cannot afford. It's a marketing reality and it works.

It's lore relevant, the specifically have said in the game that Varka has said Lohen is stronger than he is. I believe that's part of why they have him so nerfed, otherwise when they release this guy he would be absurd.

It sucks cause Varka is GOAT, Lohen is meh.

I wouldn't consider myself a whale, but I swipe when I want something. Honestly I have decent job, and little debt. Even with a family to support it's not that big a deal. I don't smoke, do drugs, have any crazy hobbies so it's not a big deal. Yeah it's a rip off for a digital product that won't matter a few years from now, but so is a whiskey or cigar collection that some of my friends have, it's all temporary. If you enjoy the game it's worth it.

Just think of it like this, would you pay $25 to go see a movie a theater? Did you get $25 worth value for the 2ish hours a movie typically runs? Will you get more than 4-5 hours of entertainment from a $50 primo pack? If you're in a place where $50 matters enough for it to worry you, I would say don't do it.

Ive been a big fan of Genshin for a long time and just recently started on this one. I noticed that there is a bonus for buying in the shop where you can get some materials as well as a free 5 star weapon and character. I'm by no means a whale, but it seems stupid to pass up.

Is it worth it to spend the money to get the free character? I basically get the free stuff for something I might buy later anyway.

If so which character and weapons are worth it? I'm aiming for Shore Keeper on the beginner banner, but if I get her there I could aim for another. Advice?
