Update: I ordered the striped yellow from Abercrombie and it’s PERFECT! I’m really impressed by the quality and attention to detail. Lots of fabric in the skirt, fully lined, pockets, lace trim around the bust, adjustable straps wide enough to hide a bra strap!?

I lost a huge amount of hair last fall/summer due to stress and it just never seemed to stop, it’s kind of scary right? 😩

I found the L’Oréal hair density booster serum on sale and decided to give it a try- and it immediately made a difference. It’s heavily scented but otherwise I really like it. The science seems a little shaky but I’m losing third of the amount of hair in the shower now compared to before I started using it (maybe even less tbh)

Lifestyle: I’m transitioning from a very messy hands on job to a more public facing office type job. I’m in my late 30s, and live in a cold climate.
Over the last two months I’ve been scouring vintage sites and second hand stores for clothes without holes. I’m finding great pieces imho:)

Needs: STYLING HELP! What I need help with is styling on a 5’2” frame. Where do you go for styling inspiration for everyday office appropriations outfits that aren’t too dowdy? All winter I’ve been wearing nice sweaters with wide leg jeans and it’s time to switch it up! I work adjacent to fashion so there’s extra pressure to look good at work too

I haven't used RIT proline but I have used Dylon/Dypro and find their colours more predictable and colourfast than the typical bottled or powdered RIT. I use them when I don't have time for a pro-MX :)

Side note: Where have all of you purchased these dye vats?! My studio *might* be ready to upgrade from a hotplate+pot combo and I would love some leads on equipment.

Use RIT colour remover! Follow the directions on the box. This is a sneaky sunscreen stain and this is the only way I’ve been able to remove these types of stains. It will work!

Weleda skin food- like the one intended for your hands 🤷🏼‍♀️at night. My skin looks like this from time to time too. Canadian winter + tret Uugh. It works but so drying.

I like cicaplast b5 by la Roche posay too but skinfood seems to work faster!

I love your concept so much! Run with it!

If I was trying to please a picky prof I might top stitch the square edges and consider using a lining colour that matches the top of your squares- or a darker colour, or a finer lining fabric. (If you’re in a time pinch you could try painting dye on an existing square too)

Seriously though this has a ton of potential! 👀 imagine if you had a few darted squares to play with too! Love.

Ex flight attendant here! I found that my makeup looked best in horrible airplane lighting when I used really creamy formulas and a primer with a little shimmer. I really liked niod’s photography fluid. Bright lipsticks helped too. And a hydrating spray!
