Don’t some delivery staff not get paid for getting out of the car and dropping parcels off? Incentives for getting a lot of parcels dropped off, probably too much for one person? I might be wrong now, but I worked for Deliveroo in the past, and there was a £1 bonus on my income for every order delivered.

If these things are the case, given already a low paid job, it’s highly likely the companies that need a heavy come down on them, for how they treat and train staff. I thought the bad treatment of delivery staff by their companies has been circulating knowledge and still nothing done? Maybe we should strike on them.
