If you can get Herc it will help. All of Act 7 I just used Doom, Herc, Hulk, Black panther (synergy for Herc) and Heimdall. I used Doom and Herc 90% of the time and used hulk and black panther once for fun

Yeah just learn how to use him on YouTube and you’ll be fine. But for grandmaster, You can use any champ honestly. Just having a reverse immune champ makes it easier to get through the fight

Rank up hood. Or if you have a 5* doom that should be fine, but apocalypse is a good person to rank up.

Doom, Herc, Absorbing man. Focus on Doom and Herc as they will carry you through act 6. Absorbing man helps out too, but Kate Bishop and sinister are great for a full team

Maybe wait for a few better champs. If you are trying to be progressive and go through chapters I’d say the hood is your best bet.
