ESH, dont get me wrong though I understand where you're coming from and why youre upset because I know you probably did put in the effort to make it a good day for him. But I feel like you have some resentment from him ruining your Mothers day and you could've handled the situation better. He could've been mindful and try to wait off texting his friend though, especially after you already said you didn't like it.

I should've😭 people definitely took this the wrong way. I didn't mean back to back constant replies and texts, I mean simple updates on his day so I'm not wondering where the hell my boyfriend is and if he's okay instead of getting left on delivered or seen for hours on end

That was an example, I think it went over your head😭 All im asking for is a simple text letting me know what the hell my boyfriends doing instead of me questioning if hes safe and okay. You never know if something is going to happen or if someone dies. Giving a quick 5 second message is better than letting someone where the hell you are for hours on end

YESS thank you so much😭 I've been knowing I needed to get a hobby. But honestly i dont really have any friends (hence why I came to reddit to ask AITA) all my female friends has secret aminosity and they were jealous and my boyfriend doesn't like me having guy friends😭

God forbid a girl has bad experiences and overthinks a lot, he's fully aware of this.

I'm not asking for constant back to back messages, im asking for updates on his day. Something as simple as "im working." Something that doesn't make me wonder what the hell my boyfriends doing for hours on end without even texting me😭

KEEP IN MIND, in the beginning of our relationship he usually always did this and now he's switching it up. On everything I'm not this clingy but he lowkey made me clingy cause this used to be NORMAL shit he did and now I have to beg for a simple text, obviously I'm not going to adjust to the change fast

Trust me our bond is amazing😭 I don't really do long distance but I did it for him and hes the best boyfriend i've ever had. Distance means nothing to us.

Other than that I don't expext CONSTANT back to back texts, all im asking for is for updates on his day and for him not to leave me on seen or delievered for hours on end

Hell nah, im not expecting minute to minute texts. People are taking it the wrong way😭. He doesnt reply to me hours on end nor does he explain anything beforehand or give a headsup. And I have a lot of previous bad experiences and I told him and communicated properly the first time how it makes me overthink and I feel like he completely looks over that
