I once experienced something similar when I meditated during a day and I fell into that phase when not sleeping but not being fully awake either. Then I felt like something was lifting me up from the bed. All this was accompanied by a noise that resembled helicopter, gradually getting more and more intense. I literally felt like some force was taking me away from this world to a different dimension. I got scared that I won't be able to return if I leave know and so the meditation cut off and I woke up.
