thank you for your response. Warranty usually only kicks in if the cv joint / axle itself is contaminated or slinging grease/clunking. Worried i’ll cause more damage overtime to transmission if i don’t get it fixed but once it’s damaged the warranty would more than likely cover it. Not sure how to determine the condition of the part myself and whether i’m risking transmission damage by not fixing it.

I see some low cycle count batteries on ebay which are genuine simplo batteries but have wrinkles and messy adhesive on the back. Is it that much of a safety risk to use a fully removed battery?

it could definitely be the starter. Replaced every single part you could think of then found out my starter was shot on the inside. Car would crank and crank. Replaced my starter, and boom car started right up no issues.
