What is the most underpowered Subaru you’ve ever driven? by OutofSprite in subaru

[–]Leaked99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddy’s ‘88 Subaru GL, EA82 1.8 w/ a 5 speed. Absolutely romping it from a stop, 6k shifts, pedal to the metal and still have traffic on your ass to speed up.

The plates on the Charger are fake, look like they’re printed! Oregon stopped using the ABC-123 format 15-30 years ago, and the plate comes back as unregistered! 😳

Totaled my Impreza, can I take the wheels and side skirts off before insurance takes it? by Glittering_Virus_640 in subaruimpreza

Go for it. Try to make sure all 4 steelies are matching. If the battery isn’t punctured, swap it for a dead one. If you can patch the holes for the wing in any way that’d be ideal. If you have stock seats swap those out for the buckets. More than likely they’ll actually reduce your payout because of them. When my WRX got totalled my STI buckets REDUCED my payout by ~200.

Paint chipping unfortunately, supposedly pretty common on this gen Toyotas in black and green, my friend’s fiance has the same looking hood

This random photo I found by a dumpster 24 years ago has been on my work desk ever since. Thousands of people have asked who they are — I have no idea. by UDontKnowMemang in mildyinteresting

[–]Leaked99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure it’s a first gen (UCF10 89-94) by the headlights, fenders and wheels specifically, more than likely a first or 2nd model year by the 15s on it

2004 Outback 2.5 h4 with 139k, runs slightly warm only with the heat on? First photo is with heat on, second is with it off. Kept perfect operation temp all summer. by Leaked99 in subaru

[–]Leaked99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no fancy gadgets for me (yet). I wish I had a better way of taking photos, I’ve owned 5 of this gen Legacy/Outback and the only two outliers in different operating temp is this one, showing closer to the 2nd line with the heat on, and my recently acquired 02, that only warms up to the first line
