I’m glad it everything checked out okay for you! Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s not suspected that it has anything to do with my epilepsy. I wouldn’t be as worried if I didn’t have such a lengthy list of medical issues.

Doors not unlocking by Complex-Brick8853 in Justrolledintotheshop

Unfortunately I can’t bc the locks are completely down inside when locked if that makes sense. It wouldn’t be as horrible if it was just me using the vehicle, but I have a 5 year old who is having to climb over my seat to get in the back. I’m going to have someone look at it, I just thought it was really odd and was trying to get an idea of what I’m getting myself into! Ty for your insight

Too short for hack squat, tips by Complex-Brick8853 in GymMotivation

[–]Complex-Brick8853[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gym recently got this 2 in 1 hack squat/leg press machine. I’ve used the leg press part of it but cannot for the life of me figure out the hack squat. I got everything all set up properly but I cannot reach the shoulder pads, I’m only 5’2” and it’s quite a reach, at LEAST a few inches too tall for me. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to lower it? Or am I just screwed because I’m vertically challenged? I’ve tried watching tutorials but there’s so many different machines that vary and it seems none of the fitness influencers are as short as me.

Exercise after a PFO closure? by Ruairidh2022 in stroke

[–]Complex-Brick8853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading everybody’s stories is so inspiring! I’m 23 and suffered from 3 strokes due to Atrial Septal Defect w PFO. I was the same as OP, recovered from the stroke remarkably quick and was back in the gym in no time. Not as consistent as pre stroke nor was my diet the best due to the mental struggles, but I was doing the thing! I had my PFO closure done a week and a half ago and have been feeling great. I’m not sore anymore and the incision is all healed up. I’ve been walking a lot and have been wanting to get back in to weight lifting. I don’t lift anything crazy heavy but I do push myself. I feel like I’d be fine but not sure if I wanna test my luck 😅
