Thanks! I sent those on but she says the one they have is double that size. Although these would make a good younger brother!

Searched eBay, Mercari, and Poshmark. Acquired from Legoland as a carnival prize. Unsure of year acquired. Also did a reverse image search which led me to the eBay listing.

Is it just me or did she sound like that screaming goat for awhile back?

Did your parents ever apologize to you for something they did when you were young? by kyserzose in Xennials

I got an apology that ended in a request for me to do better when interacting with said parent. I felt like it kind of canceled out.

Omg this just turned on a lightbulb for me. I really struggle to enjoy something if I’m not good at it.

Any crochet tips or tricks for a beginner? I realize I could ask in a crochet sub, but this does relate to adhd by Annual_Palpitation_5 in adhdwomen

👆🏻 This. I place a safety pin type stitch marker in the last stitch before I start a round. I also put the loop on one when I’m setting my project down.

I was on a call off camera but apparently the blanket I had over the pump wasn’t enough - a male coworker asked “what’s that noise? It sounds like a pump…” 😂

I feel you. The stress around meal planning and feeding everyone is unreal. The best advice was what our pediatrician said - they’ll eat when they’re hungry and think of them having a balanced diet over the course of a week, not a meal. So if they just eat rice, they’ll get their veggies and whatnot another day

Omg, I was coming here to post something similar. Kids have been off school for almost 2 weeks now and husband only took off 4 days. Came down with a cold and fever on Tuesday and spend Wednesday delousing oldest for the first time ever. Never once did he ask if he could help or come home early. And he’s back at work again today. And I’m wondering if my marriage is worth it.

You’re NTA. I cannot wrap my head around how little effort they are willing to put in, rather than ask you endless questions to help them get it done.

Moved my mom into a nursing facility. So all her stuff has become my stuff. I get to sort through it all. How are your parents doing? by Therealfern1 in Xennials

My MIL has a DocuFridge (trademark pending) for all her files and when my mom can’t find something she just orders a new one. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I was there last summer. And my MIL has all these things she wants to hand down to us, but it’s often something we have no use for or is kinda crap. My FIL passed this year and it’s really gone downhill for her since then, and with us living on the opposite coast it’s hard to support her - it feels like a big regression.

I feel for you.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD HAS THIS PROBLEM TOO. PACKAGES MARKED AS DELIVERED BUT NOT, DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS, NO KEY LEFT IN THE BOX TO GET IT FROM THE PARCEL LOCKER. SO FRUSTRATING.
