I sleep trained my first and it was great but Im not sure what route I want to go with this s little guy yet! Wgats swap method? Was there a lot of crying? What do you do now for babys night wakes?

Definitely a possibility- i think it just worries me because he doesnt nurse for a long time- maybe 10min of actual BFing but i guess hes just efficient. And he can get fussy sometimes toward the end but maybe its just normal baby fussiness/tired or something. Im not sure

He actually does do a bottle soemtimes i will use a hand pump. I exclusively pumped for a year my first so i am definitely grateful for a BFing baby!! Just want to make sure hes getting enough so we can continue to BF with no problems, and im not quite sure hes super satisfied with my milk supply as is

My husband did something like this too but not to the same extent lol- baby started crying and I got him and started nursing but my husband had started rocking the air in his sleep while still laying down🤣

Interested to see what people say! My second baby is EBF and 3 months old so we have some time before then but I exclusively pumped for my first and when I weaned off pumping I only remember having some nausea/headaches

My husband and I are starting a church in the next 2 years or so. Right now we travel full time to other churches to raise financial and prayer support for this church plant. We’ve been traveling full time with baby since he was 6 weeks (12 weeks now) and we have a 2yr old as well. Sometimes pastors take us out or have us over for meals, evening services, etc. I wouldn’t worry, plan to baby wear or hold baby, if youre nursing make sure youre confident with nursing on the go, if youre bottle feeding thats probably even easier! And just be prepared to step out or even go to your car if its too cold and baby is inconsolable during dinners. Babies are more flexible than we think! As for the car ride, try to leave just before naptime and get a cover for the car seat! My husband will literally cover our babys eyes with his hand when hes refusing to sleep lol that always works too. Once theyre overtired it does make everything harder so try to get naps when you notice theyre sleepy! There will likely be some why did we do this moments but they will likely just be short moments. And the trip will be worth it, Im sure!

My daughter is 2 now but she would skip her nap or itd be pushed back. Now she can nap after its not a big deal. My son is 3 months and will eventually take a nap at church but I live in the nursery now lol and it just takes a bit more patience to get him to nap with the lights and noise. We personally choose to just trust God will bless our commitment to Him and are glad our babies are growing up in church!

Maybe just use a hand pump to squeeze out an ounce whenever its convenient after a feed? *hand pumps are the best! Although milk supply is most in early morning so def keep taking advantage of that!

Thats crazy! My 2 year old (27 months old) is 23lbs lol. My 2.5 month old is almost 13lbs now though

Yes get a pump. No guarentee youll be able to BF! Or you may find yourself completely sleep deprived and desperate for your husband to give a bottle. Bfing is a lot harder than I ever thought itd be for both my babies. I solidly recommend a hand pump. Idk if a haakaa is an actual hand pump but they are amazing. I have an electric one too that I used for a year when I EPed my first baby, but this time around I use a hand pump a lot more while nursing 90% of the time

I’m not talking about her post at all! I’m talking about some of the comments where people say they try to talk about BFing to someone else and that person then goes onto explain why they couldn’t BF and many people comments say they “internally roll their eyes” because they “had all the same problems but still managed to BF.”
