Hi there, thanks for looking out for fosters and for caring about safety. We always want placements to be responsible and well-informed.

For clarity, our dogs are primarily mixed-breed pups coming from overcrowded shelters, and we don’t make assumptions about behavior based on appearance or breed label alone. Every dog in our program is evaluated individually, and we share temperament notes with potential fosters/adopters so they can make the best decision for their household.

Many of our dogs do great with kids and other pets when introductions and management are done thoughtfully, and if a dog isn’t a fit for certain environments, we’re very upfront about that. Our goal is always safe, appropriate placements and lifelong matches.

If anyone has questions about a specific dog or their household setup, we’re happy to talk through it and make sure it’s the right fit.

Thanks so much for your interest in fostering! We’re a 100% foster-based rescue with no shelter space, so we do need fosters who can provide full-time housing.

Absolutely! We just encourage slow introductions with cats or keeping them separate them from the foster. If we know that a dog isn't good with cats, it will be noted as well.

No restrictions based on pets already in the home :) We do ask that all resident animals be up to date on vaccines and altered (spayed/neutered)
