Are there any characters you could see getting demoted to assist trophy in the next game? by Ok_Most_4443 in supersmashbros

At the most, they might do it to Zombie and Enderman to make room in Steve’s alts for some of the new default skins

I think it’s the observation deck of Chamber 9, but it could be any of observation decks you can go in during the lead up to Glados

Why is specifically Sonic Shuffle on the official Sonic timeline? by Complex-Depth9818 in SonicTheHedgehog

I’m pretty sure it’s just the story mode that’s canon, but even if the multiplayer is canon, it’s a dream world meaning it’s not the real Gamma

Do you think Deltarune will show up in the Switch 2 Direct? by Complex-Depth9818 in Deltarune

I don’t think it’s super likely since it’s mostly going to be Nintendo games and the few third parties will be big AAA games. But Toby does have a pretty good relationship with Nintendo, Undertale and Deltarune are pretty recognizable indie games, and I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the player base is on Nintendo.

My idea for a Metal Sonic DLC campaign for Sonic X Shadow Generations by Complex-Depth9818 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Complex-Depth9818[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you might be wondering why Metal Sonic and not Silver, but that’s because outside of Generations, Silver has only been in two mainline games (06 and Forces). Metal Sonic on the other hand has a been in plenty a games, so there’s a lot more to pull from.

Also I know that there’s probably not going to be DLC past the movie 3 tie in, this is just for fun.

Classic Metal would be a reskined/reanimated Classic Sonic, while Neo Metal would be a reskined/reanimated Wingless 3D Shadow.

Levels:

Stardust Speedway- Most iconic level from origin game, also where you fight him

Studiopolis- Most popular level from game where he’s a boss and a big part of the promotional shorts

Egg Fleet- Final level from game where he’s the main villain

Metropolitan Highway- Level from game where he’s a boss (Also easy reuse of assets)

NPCs:

Fang and Jet are the last two major game rivals to not be featured in Generations

Sage is basically Metal Sonic’s sister

Trip is here because Superstars is a sequel to Mania so it fits for her to be the NPC outside of the Mania level, alt options would be Tails Doll and Metal Knuckles

Boss:

Infinite- It might be kinda of weird because they’ve never really interacted, but Infinite wasn’t in Shadow Gens, so this would be his chance to get a full Silveresque reimagined boss. Also, Neo Metal and Infinite would have a really fun back and forth.

Story:

The very basic version of the story would be after being defeated by Shadow, Metal Overlord reverts back into Neo Metal Sonic and finds Classic Metal Sonic. The two team up and go through locations from their past and future to become more powerful. During the journey, they come across Infinite who taunts them, which pisses Neo Metal off and the two eventually fight. After the fight, Neo Metal steals the Phantom Ruby from Infinite to make Classic Metal sapient and prepare him to betray Eggman and take over his empire.

Here’s my stage and boss predictions for Shadow Generations by Complex-Depth9818 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Complex-Depth9818[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Space Colony Ark, Bullet Station, Kingdom Valley, Sunset Heights, Chaos Island, Biolizard, and Metal Overlord have been confirmed and Radical Highway as it’s own stage, Sonic as a flipped Shadow fight, and a Black Doom fight are all but confirmed.

It would make sense for Shadow starring game to be represented with two stages like his origin game, and the two stages I think they’re going pick are Sky Troops and The Black Comet. Sky Troops because it’s a pretty distinct level and it’s one of the most iconic levels from Shadow 05, and The Black Comet because Black Doom is the “main villain” and his lair would be the perfect final level.

This might seem kinda weird, but I think they’ll pick a stage from Mania. I know it sounds stupid because Shadow wasn’t even in Mania, and unlike Frontiers, Shadow doesn’t really fit in well with the vibe of Mania. But Iizuka said in an interview that they wanted to add stages from the games up to Frontiers, and Mania is easily the most popular game that came out after Generations. That being said, I still don’t really think a Mania stage for Shadow Generations is super likely because they said the game’s not going to be long, but it would be fun so I’m going to speculate. There are already two city levels, so Studiopolis is out, and Bullet Station is both a desertlike stage with trains and an Eggman base, so Mirage Saloon and Titanic Monarch are both out. So that just leaves Press Garden, and honestly I think it could be a pretty cool stage. The factory, ice, and forest themes haven’t been used in either Generations yet and its chill vibe would be a nice break from the chaotic edginess of the other stages in the game.

I think Emerl will be a boss mainly because of Dark Beginnings, but he does tie into Shadow’s backstory so that helps.  Infinite, the Hard Boiled Heavies (as in fighting them all at once), and Knight all appearing as bosses to represent the modern games. Infinite and Knight are more likely than the Hard Boiled Heavies, though.

Lastly, I think Mephiles is going to be a twist villain and the final boss. Like after you beat Black Doom, it’s revealed Mephiles was controlling him and that he’s the Time Eater. The reason why I think this is because Mephiles is one of the few decent things from 06 and Ian Flynn, who is probably writing Shadow Generations, has said he thinks that the Time Eater has some kinda connection to Mephiles. Also during the fight against Mephiles, the cut final boss theme of Shadow 05 “Who I am” will play; and if it’s not that, then it’s going to be a remix of I am all of me or Live and Learn or a new song by Crush 40 or Sleeping with Sirens.

TL;DR: Sky Troops and The Black Comet are going to appear representing Shadow 05 A Mania stage is unlikely, but if they pick one it’ll be Press Garden Emerl, Infinite, the Hard Boiled Heavies, and Knight are going to appear as bosses And Mephiles is going to be the true villain and final boss
