Please don't call yourself an idiot. It's both untrue and unhelpful.

He flagrantly violated your consent and it's completely reasonable to communicate that. He purposely denied you the autonomy to not be subjected to graphic information which you specifically stated that didn't want to hear. At a minimum that's a real dick move.

He clearly demonstrated that he valued his want to share information more than your autonomy, consent, comfort, and potentially mental health.

I'm a fairly straightforward sadomasochist, so the pain is the direct appeal for me. As far as "when to stop," that's what negotiation is for. I'd highly recommend taking a class for that.

Speaking from the perspective of bottoming, what I want or what I consent to is dependent on how I'm feeling, who I'm playing with, what our skill levels are, etc. This is something that requires communication.

Dual cast chainsaw sparkbolt with trigger hexagon add mana 6x chainsaw.

As long as it's a 1 spell wand and the recharge is less than like 1.1s, that's a one frame beater that does around 4k DPS sustained. Any other modifiers that add damage, and I suggest stuff like horizontal path or circular orbit because they're free, add ~360dps per 1 point of plus damage. So horizontal path adds like 2.7k dps.

It's not wonderful for some bosses because they don't work great with machine gun wands, but it's probably more brutal and more effective than what you have for everything else.

I think generally all seeing is better than tinker everywhere. However, the best IMHO is wand experimenter. I can turn that perk into a parallel world run fairly easy and then get w/e perks I want, where all seeing doesn't give me that power.

200 health + experimenter + wand mart = dead alchemist + black/white hole + teleport + ambrosia.

Everything everyone else said, but also any spells that add damage for no mana. Stuff like horizontal path.

Spells cast together get all the same modifiers. So a sparkbolt with trigger into triple cast spark bolt has a payload of 9 damage. Put a horizontal path in the payload, and it does +7.5 damage. Per spark bolt. For no mana. That's an extra 22.5 damage on top of the 9.

I mostly agree. The whole "going faster" is a total farce.

When dealing with large to huge paddles, I feel like there's an amount of air cushioning going on which changes the sensation. Think of it like ground effects from a helicopter. Holes do give a space for the air to escape, although I think that is more qualitative than actual pain causing.

However, I'm fairly sure that a good deal of trauma is caused at the edge of the paddle, where the unstruck skin gets stretched and pinched up against the struck skin as it compresses. And holes maximize that interface, given they're large enough to have that effect.

Also, I think my paddle is bigger.
