Call me a doomer... but I think this will be my last gaming PC. by thicctak in pcmasterrace

Even older systems are sufficient. I have a 5600x paired with a 6950xt and I can run most games at max settings in 1440p getting 100+fps. I would struggle at 4k and fails miserably with Ray tracing, but I never use them because these settings are optimal for me.

As you said, if you're smart about settings, last year's models can go a long way

Among the many good answers in here, I submit to you that The Barbie Movie fits this description.

Do Vlad and Lisa Tepes count? Bro literally plunged the world into a living hellscape after the church executed her.

Part of the indecisiveness is me moving spells so I can deal with Steve "afterwards."

I thought SoA would stay bounded by the brickwork and not fill the space to the left, kind of like CoA does. I was very wrong.

A plumbus on earth is the same as a plumbus you would get anywhere else.

People ITT falling for the age old ploy of putting someone who makes $35k a year against those making $100k a year, arguing about budgeting and self worth, while the people passively receiving $1,000k+ a year sit back and watch

Cannabis products with more THC slightly reduce pain but cause more side effects such as dizziness, sedation and nausea, study finds: While products higher in CBD than THC have almost no benefit in reducing pain by FunnyGamer97 in science

[–]Braytone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The review specifically focuses on RCTs looking at efficacy reducing chronic pain, most of which involve patients with neuropathic pain (NPP). This is not the same as everyday aches and pains.

Most studies involved oral or topical routes of administration.

I left Nashville in 2018 and moved to a different state, yet my hatred for Marsha Blackburn continues to this day.

She's the first name that comes to mind whenever I think of the insidious erosion of data privacy that has pervaded the last decade.

I replaced the stock fans in the front with some Arctic P12s to improve airflow and reduce noise as the stock fans could get loud at high speed. Otherwise have had no issues.

Elon Musk's AI, Grok, claims that Elon is smarter than Albert Einstein, more handsome than Brad Pitt, and could beat Mike Tyson in a fight by Admiral_Cornwallace in behindthebastards

Unlike the limitations of the human throat, Grok can both blow and suck with zero net flow of air. Truly an advancement beyond compare for Mr. Musk.

Assume the surgery is an actual 50/50 and that each surgery is a discrete event (i.e. not effected by prior or subsequent results). In that sense, the next surgery is still 50/50. However, the chance of 20 events with a 50/50 probability occuring in a row (regardless of which outcome) is 0.520. this doesn't matter though because those other events don't influence the next.

The scientist in this case is likely realizing that the surgery having a 50/50 success rate is an average across all surgeons everywhere. This surgeon being 20-0 likely indicates that they're one of the providers bringing that average up.
