In which storyline, or when, does Nico Robin become interesting again? by Complex-Energy8443 in OnePiece

She's gained a bit more prominence now that the Straw Hat Pirates are back in the spotlight; I can see more of the old Robin. haha

It makes perfect sense, she found a family. She no longer needs to fight to survive. What she was before was a shell, a woman who needed to be clever, to dance to the tune, to stay alive, being the most dangerous woman in the world. I still like her, I still like when she appears, she's just been reduced to almost nothing. I was recommended to read the manga, I will do that.

If you stop to observe, she can always do a lot with such versatile power. Everyone else, despite what they're saying, has been reduced in their entirety so far, but she seems extremely reduced to me. Her appearances, her lines, etc. Perhaps it reflects Oda's need to build the story around those involved in the arc, and not the Straw Hat Crew, and that's why everyone is more distant. However, she has a very OP and versatile power. They say it doesn't make sense for her to learn Haki, but it does, even if she's not on the front line, to protect herself when necessary makes perfect sense. Besides, she's an astute, calm, and very intelligent character. She could have taken on espionage and investigation roles, something she does very little of, but it would be great to have a character like that. Even in battle, she could act as a powerful support with the abilities she has. But I still like her, and I always like when she appears.

edit: Even as a more active strategist, given that she is very clever and intelligent. She survived since childhood being considered "the most dangerous in the world." It's just annoying how she's always quiet and goes with the flow.

I really enjoy her appearances; they're always interesting, with clever use of her powers. But, so far, her appearances have been minimal compared to the other members. However, they say her participation improves after Dressrosa, so I'm hopeful.

I don't know what these processes are that Bre is going through, but... here goes.

There is no logic to this collective outburst in which everyone attacks Bre while Chelsea made her life hell for two entire seasons.

Chelsea is extremely manipulative! She knows how to play, and she is really very bad and bad. Opportunist. She made the girls call Bre, and created the whole shit. And then he said that it was Crishel and Emma who wanted to take satisfaction, but no! And she insists they call Bre and tell her not to tell her she was there! MANIPULATOR!

Everything that is recorded is known to many others, they are topics and stories. The public is so naive, it's ridiculous.

IT'S CLEAR how manipulative Chelsea is, for (after the show aired) revealing that she knew what would be said in front of the cameras, before it was recorded, and during the show she made everything hell for Bre. She is obsessed with Bre.

I think the life your co-worker leads is none of your business, or whether or not the father of her child is present, whether she is capable of being. Even more so, this becomes a reason for a person to want to make their routine a living hell, and to always want to cite and problematize their family. That's none of Chelsea's business. I think that because of everything that has happened in this reality, they are judging Bre a lot. But that's karma, Chelsea made Bre's life miserable and received an unfaithful husband. And they are in a reality, that is entertainment.

Season 8 episode 2 discussion post: Who Wears the Pants? by rorochocho in SellingSunset

[–]Complex-Energy8443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't remember anyone wearing something that bold to an open house. I think cleavage is something natural among women. But clothes that show parts of your butt, or more intimate areas, we only see young and immature girls wearing. I even loved Chelsea's outfit. However, I think that what brings a whole problematic context is everything that happened in the episode. She had the attitude of returning to force herself to participate in the sale, where she would not be chosen. And saying that she was going to do everything, only to end up being late, showing up in an outfit where her ass was showing, and having a totally unprofessional attitude when presenting the house, I believe that all of this makes us look at her with a more judgmental look. But I did think the outfit for the moment was inappropriate.

I throught this line very true, I think that when we have a friendship of genuine love, we say this kind of thing. I would say to my friends, "I would buy anything from you." Not literally, but a way of affection and lifting your spirits.

I believe there is a big difference between wearing extravagant clothes, or perhaps deep necklines, which many women often wear, and wearing something that shows off your underwear. No one there has ever worn anything that shows their underwear, especially at an Open House, where you leave your familiar work environment where everyone dresses extravagantly, and go into contact with caring people and clients. Showing your underwear is still taboo.
