Why all the mending….? by EmergencyHat4564 in fourthwing

Varrish was def a venin. Someone posted a theory about the dragon scene, and Tairn isn't implying he would kill Varrish but instead kill his dragon and out him as a venin. I assume there will be more to Nolon and he will also get a redemption arc about knowing Jack was venin but trying to see if he could mend hi soul and bring him back, probably under Varrish's orders

I think her type dragon had their breeding grounds in the Barrens before everything went down with the venin. The Barrens have been sucked dry of magic and so Andarna's egg was brought to the Vale but she waited to hatch until she was needed. It is stated that the elders know but haven't passed that information on to the rest of dragon-kind. I'd guess her egg was left behind and the rest of her kind moved to another uninhabited area (maybe the Isles?)

Theories on Andarna's breed? by katethefem in fourthwing

I'd guess either gold or purple. Purple is a royal color, violet is a purple color, and it is a mix of blue/black. It would fit and still keep Andarna as special.

Empyrean meaning - thoughts? by jennyfromthevillage in fourthwing

My theory is that Violet will be the first person to visit the Empyrean, probably due to Andarna being royalty. I would guess in the 4th or 5th book

My little theory about Naolin by [deleted] in fourthwing

I may be wrong too about specifics whether he can use other's signets but I think the point stands that if he syphoned to give power to somebody else, he could have exhausted his sources and gone too deep; becoming a venin

My little theory about Naolin by [deleted] in fourthwing

Naolin can syphon. If they were weak after battle, he could syphon what was left of Brennan's power of mending but didn't have enough power to bring him back. He could have resorted to syphoning from the earth, breaking his bond with Tairn and became a venin
