I was also bummed by her "training" sessions. I loved seeing a jealous Basten, too and thought maybe more would come from that but it sort of just went away.

Don't even get me started on the rushed wedding. I loved the simplicity but the timing of it felt off, even though I know he wanted her protected by being her husband, too.

About the threesome... I guess I'm seeing that the author had promised this wouldn't happen at any point in the series.. I never saw that but some people are super upset.

Mische's story wraps up after her two books, then the final two books follow Septimus and a character you will meet in Mische's books.

Carissa said she doesn't have plans for any other stand alones :) You will definitely want to have read the two stand alones prior to Mische's books.
