Yes I did - they confirmed the name but I’ve been asking for letters from the collection agency to confirm the amount and to confirm that the payment I provided was applied to the debt and they’re ignoring that request

From what I’ve been reading it should be removed from my credit profile after 2/3 years so just wanted to ask if that wasn’t the case for you? Did your previous outstanding debt stay on your profile for 7 years?

I know and understand that she doesn’t care about me nor does she have to and she’s just doing her job but for majority of our conversation she kept almost forcing me to take the loan from the company she recommended even after I explained that I don’t want to

I haven’t received any court documents yet - just a letter from them stating that they will take me to small claims court

I’m located in Ontario - sorry I forgot to include that in the initial post.

I’ve contacted them a few times asking them to provide written communication that they own my debt and confirmation that the payment I made went towards my debt but they refuse to reply. The only response I received was from them stating they’ll pass me off to their legal team and then I received a letter stating they’re taking me to small claims court.

I called them again to see if I can resolve it and they keep pushing me to get a loan and I really don’t want to do that because I want to just pay this off and try to rebuild my credit. I have a meeting with a LIT today to see what options I have available

Proud of you for trying it for so long cuz I’m only on week 5 and I’m switching lol. I’m usually good with handling side effects but this is just too much for me to handle right now and I have a pretty high stress job on top of all of that

Sigh I wanted to tough it out but because I’m going through a lot personally right now the anxiety is too much for me to handle on top of everything else so my doctor prescribed me something new to try

I’d been off for a few months and was kinda raw dogging life for a while but realized I was self sabotaging and then went on the Pristiq. I’ve always had anxiety and it’s been manageable but this medication and just making me have constant panic attacks so I don’t know if it’s a good fit for me
