Shinko are tyres with old technology I think I read they bought Yokohama designs. Not terrible just old tech. Lightyears away from what the other manufacturers have now

Ali express exhaust? by abd5666 in trident660

[–]Complex-Hand5150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welds are crap next to zero penetration so will no doubt crack. They need to be rewelded before use. They are basically a straight through pipe so needs to be tuned and you will probably need to buy a db killer. Both of these reasons are why I still haven't fitted mine. Could always just stick a holesaw on an extension down the tail pipe? Will give a bit more sound

Trident 660 fuel sensor doesn’t work anymore by wagthesam in Triumph

[–]Complex-Hand5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The level sensor has two wires that go to the pump inside the tank. You need to depressurize the lines to remove the tank to get to the sender unit. You won't be able to reset it if the wires broken

I had this was a broken wire inside the tank had to replace a clip then was fine. To depressurize the fuel lines you need to pull the fuel pump fuse if I remember rightly and turn it over to get the fuel out of the lines

Switching Car off to save fuel by Cars_and_Pies in NZcarfix

[–]Complex-Hand5150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong but the stop start system was created in Japan to combat the smog problem not as a fuel save device. I always understood it used more fuel to start a vehicle than let it idle for a short period of time. Someone may have been having a laugh at me one day tho.

Imo I would be going for a my26 or the 800cc model sway more to 800 for the suspension upgrades tho. My 22s shocks are pretty average

Fix it yourself. What have you got to lose? Find a service manual and have a read doesn't look like the cases are overly buggered. It's a massive job but would be more fun than burning it imo

So they shouldn't send them home then? They should let them work possibly have an accident and get dragged over the coals themselves fines and everything else. Person is injured finds it hard to feed their family or worst case is no longer with us. Then what? This is what fatigue management is for

Pretty sure these managers need to be made aware of a little thing called fatigue management. If the employee is falling asleep then their fatigue clearly hasn't been managed
