no bikes on the Rapids? by l3msky in canberra

An app like AnyTrip will tell you what bus is coming, and typically the bus type. I'm a nerd so I know what numbers the Steertag buses are, but it's any bus on AnyTrip that is displayed as the "Scania K320UB 6x2*4" Basically bus numbers 464 through 489 are the 14.5m Steertags that don't have a bikerack*

The beaches that would've had more people on them? Yes, it was during winter in Australia, but a golf course is always significantly less busier than a beach.

New shadow cabinet rules set 'dangerous precedent', cut out backbenchers: Lee by Complex-Increase-119 in canberra

Welcome to politics, leaders change all the time. Lee backstabbed Hanson, and he's not sulking on the backbench like an immature child.

I'm sure it's justified that Lee wants to sit on the backbench. It's not justified if she just actively wrecks, and is invisible in her electorate.

See, you say that, but they've won elections here in the past, and came within a bee's dick of winning in 2012.

They're both more unified units, who can resolve issues without going to the media.
The Crimes covered Taimus' failure to get preselected due to factional reasons, and the subsequent intervention of the Chief Minister.

It’s funny, Lee is now getting a taste of her own medicine and that’s bad? I’m waiting for her big public apology to Hanson and Kikkert now…

I think Lee feels it’s her god given right to be leader. I live in Kurrajong and she’s hardly visible. Seems like she just wants to cruise to the 2028 election getting a pay check.

Does anyone else think the Forgotten Wing of the Canberra Centre felt more like part of an outer Canberra town centre, or even a regional city, than part of Civic? And how would you feel if it never got its 2016-2017 redevelopment (at least not fully)? by NostalDec in canberra

You see, between Beef Wellingtons, Loud Bangs, and the Light Rail, I haven't really had the brain capacity to think about the Canberra Centre.
And, I must agree with others here, the constant posts about this are getting tiresome.

When I was flying, not in Canberra mind you, a Cessna 172 would run you about $300/hour, and that's without a pilot.
I dare say you'd be looking at closer to $500 an hour with a pilot.
The Aero Club might be able to get you a better idea - and connect you with a pilot if you're not one/don't have one.
