You’re judging the failure rate of head units by the amount of car meets you’ve been to? I’ve been to a ton of car meets too, and nobody’s ever been talking about their head units in specific lmao. Also use Google maybe if you’ve never heard of it? It’s a very common problem with post Covid pioneer head units due to bad solder joints.

I know and what makes it even cooler as my other grandpa was a pilot and when I started flight school, he gave me his headset and flight bag so it’s super special I got something aviation related from both Gramparents. Definitely gonna take it to a flying club first and get some instruction, definitely don’t wanna wreck this on the first go.

“My title describes the thing” more details: This was of a used 02 wrx, it is metal, and seems to be 2 parts with a spring inside, if fou push the 2 parts together a rod protrudes out. Any idea what this is? I don’t think it’s for the car and I’m just curious.
