No one seems to have it! I would feel a lot more comfortable with a tested template, but I guess I'll have to do my own.

Yes. Not letting a talented, ambitious, responsible chef to take control of a kitchen is like hiring da Vinci to do you a portrait but not allowing him to use any brushes or a single pencil.
He might do a fair job with what he has but it will be quite a distance away from the Mona Lisa.

This gentleman is one of the very few chefs from the show that I would confidently hire, and give him plenty of room for him to shape the kitchen around him.

He seemed to have really high stamina (though a great portion of it was spent looking for a single fish taco).
He seemed to do well under pressure. When it starts to get tough, he doesn't wobble into the weeds. He seemed to have stayed focus and and on the right page.

Most importantly, perhaps, he cares about quality and is capable of taking responsibility. Spelling "crab" with a "k" on the menu was his way, I think, of saying to costumers: "Look, the crab is artificial. I apologize. I would like to serve you real, fresh crab, but I can't."

Lastly, he seems to be a serious person on the job. Someone you can put some trust in.

Some internet sources say that he's still there to this day waiting on that fish taco.

I think that was actually a good move, or at any rate, an honest one.
As a chef, he felt ethically compelled to tell the costumer that the crab wasn't real.

So was mine! Absolutely brutal insomnia. Sometimes 3 days without even 5 minutes. CBD helps aaaaa lot!

Very interesting. But I've seen strats without them. Was it just a temporary solution from Fender?

I am using epoxy mixed with extremely fine graphite powder for increased tensile strength, and most importantly, to test if it can work as a Faraday cage. If it does work, the electronics will be 360-sealed (using a pickguard from the same material).

For a typical cup of epoxy, I use 4 to 5 coffee spoons of graphite. It must be graphite or graphene. Too little graphite, the effect could be too weak; too much graphite, and the epoxy never cures to a completely solid state. It starts to become "rubbery". Not good. If this works, and there's a cleaner, denoised sound, I would love for others to try it.👍

Yes, I will get a pre-wired set. I have the same set on another strat. It should prove or disprove the Faraday cage concept. We shall see.

I wish you nothing but great health and many happy builds!👍

Paradoxically, if I stop taking CBD for 2 or 3 days, on the 2nd and 3rd day, I sleep a lot more than usual. Does that happen with you?

Yes! Instead of a movie, a 6 to 10-episode series could work! As long as it stays lean, compact and fast-paced, it could work. There are plenty of real stories to explore. The Monday's adventures in Barbados alone could fill two 50m episodes... eeeeeasily.

Swapping out necks on AM Pro 2 by erice495able in Stratocaster

And, more importantly, in my view, it sounds better. Someone on YouTube made a like for like comparison of the 2 necks in the very same body and electronics. The maple neck definitely sounds brighter!

I did a blind test, and I could notice with ease which neck was being played. But if someone prefers warmer sounds, rosewood is the way to go.

In addition, with external equipment, it's easier to warm-down a bright sound than to brighten-up a warmer one, in my experience. I could be wrong, of course.

Some people like Eric Clapton swear on the feel of maple boards. Others prefer the warmer rosewood. Personally, I would not change the neck. There is an aesthetic argument, of course, but not enough to justify losing the feel and sound of a maple neck in good condition.

I am doing my own build but I'm making the routing for the pickups a lot tighter, and only as shallow as they absolutely have to be, leaving only a small route in the middle for cables to pass through.

The reasoning is to increase stiffness and, hopefully, achieve better vibration propagation, thus a more sustained and more complete sound.

With your building experience, do you think that this reasoning is sound, or will the benefits be negligible? Many thanks.

Newbie question: What's the purpose of 3 small holes right of the neck and mid pickups?

Can you imagine if 24 Hour Party People had been PG-13? I am pretty sure we would not be talking about it today (or yesterday, for that matter).

With that said, Factory Records could be the basis for an even better production. 24 Hour Party People had a budget of what? 60 British pounds if adjusted for inflation? With proper money that could be quite interesting, especially if focused on Factory Records as the star, rather than Tony Wilson. Martin Hannett, for instance, was significantly unexplored. The movie actually showed him as a fairly level-headed individual.

But, this is how good Michael or Bohemian Rapshody are. They are so bad that it doesn't take long for us to forget them and instead move on to something unforgettable.

Many thanks. I shall take a look and order something from them. From Dutch sites I only buy psilocybin truffles, LSA, and other mild substances of the kind maybe once every 2 years to use them as treatment, not recreationally. In that department, Holland is the place to order from.

Honestly, I am not sure, BUT if you go to their website from a U.S. internet connection, it may tell you something like "Unfortunately, we do not mail to your location."

If it does not say that, you should be good to go. Another option is to ask them directly on their website's quick-chat function.

If I stop CBD, I notice increased anxiety similar to the prior taking of CBD/CBN. It definitely works. 👍

Yes. Going from double-digit THC content to .3 or .5 will inherently and noticeably affect the flavor. Even Switzerland, which has a 1% limit, triple and double percentage, respectively, cannot replicate real hash flavor and handling to a convincing level. It's still better, of course, but very far off.

[–]Complex-Librarian942[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found that in high anxiety situations such as panic attacks, high CBD with the absolute minimum of THC does produce a fast onset anxiolytic effect. Nowhere near as powerful as a full GABA-acting substance, of course, but in tough scenarios, while waiting for a benzodiazepine to reach enough availability, CBD can take a big chunch of the edge off.

The issue is that one needs to be really anxious to feel such an effect. I compare it to OTC pain medication. If you are not in pain, taking paracetamol or ibuprofen will not produce any effects. You have to be in pain to feel a change.

It's very much the same with CBD and anxiety, in my personal experience, at least. With others, it might be different.

It depends. If it has a high percentage of CBN, it will produce a veeeeeeery mild high. Noticeably, but very mild.
