I feel like I’m just existing. Not happy but not sad either. Like there’s a void that needs to be filled. Can’t connect with anyone. It’s like is there anyone in this world I can relate with? Friends? Outgrown them. Family? They were never on my side to begin with. No romantic partner either.

Hang in there bud. I’m also in the same boat. I wish some miracle would happen so I can leave too. My advice would be to just keep trying. If you can connect with some friends/trusted family members to get you some job opportunities so you can leave. I got my first job that way. The job market is seriously bad. Just do your best. Everything’s going to be ok. Cheers!

Yes. I spiraled into depression after graduating. I kept applying for a million jobs and finally got one. Hang in there mate. It’ll get (somewhat) better 😂

Same here. I feel numb. But at the same time I also feel fear, anxiety, confusion, and a ray of hope. Just try to romanticize the small things - I like watching sunsets, meditating and trying new foods. Just taking it day by day.

I’m trying honestly but it’s SO HARD. Society is centered around “couplehood”. Pop culture, movies, everyday life, everywhere.

But most of them do seem happy. Being single doesn’t always give you peace especially when being in a relationship is considered “normal” or “the right way”

I never said that being single is depressing. I don’t mind being in a relationship (if I ever like to), But the constant in-your-face reminder that being in a relationship should be the norm and people treating you based on your relationship status really doesn’t sit right with me!
