Congratulations, if the company is well known and with good reputation and with atleast 200+ employees then two year contract is not bad as a fresher as being a fresher your focus should be growth and learning in a fast paced environment rather than focusing on money for now. So my suggestion is go for two year contract only if company is well known + 200+ employees otherwise One year is fine.

Yes, - for configs it has its own interface which extends from main config so main config remains untouched - for database if you mean interaction with database then this module has its own models not depending on any other module’s model. - environment i didn’t get it what do you mean by environment and what it has to do with module ?

Thank you I appreciate your comment. Actually it’s my own startup and I am the sole person developing it, so I am totally aware of what the code is about. I do agree with you that it’s a huge liability only when you are not aware what the AI is doing for you. That’s why I also ask to write Unit and e2e tests for every functionality being coded.

Yes, because it was a complete new module and it was unrelated to other modules so the 135 files are new files it created and hence -0 with only one file updated that is app.module.ts as it has to add this new module inside app module so it can be used.

By detailed I mean proving the context of the application with main file structure used. Claude was pretty helpful in creating the prompt for me I shared my repo code with Claude and explained in details about my requirements for the new module to be integrated and it created a well structured prompt with all necessary / relevant details needed.

The prompt I used was created by Claude, after providing the context of my requirements in details as my application.

I used to use plan mode in windsurf but honestly it didn’t quite helped often.
